What is - in your own words - your role at RetailSonar?
My role at RetailSonar is to configure and implement our platform in dialogue with customers, ensuring a high-quality solution is delivered on time.

What is your first impression of our company?
The company’s strong ambition to keep growing, combined with a warm, family-like culture that immediately makes you feel welcome.

What is your favorite quote?
“If you never try, you’ll never know”

Any fun facts we need to know about you?
I tend to be pretty good at stuff that nobody cares about (laughs).

What is your first impression of our company?
Really positive! Everyone is super kind and welcoming. I feel valued, especially with the constant feedback I receive. It’s clear that I’m part of a team, and I can tell that every person here has a real impact on what the company does.

What do you see as the biggest challenge in your work?
The biggest challenge is managing all kinds of different tasks and staying focused. I’m working on several projects simultaneously, so it’s important to prioritize effectively. Additionally, with any new technology, things change rapidly, so it requires extra effort to stay up-to-date.

What are your hobbies?
I got into pole dancing during my student days in Ghent and have been doing it ever since. I also enjoy going to the gym, the occasional bouldering session, and being creative with things like painting or clay (though mostly just for fun, not masterpieces!).

Any fun facts we need to know about you?
When I was younger, I played the saxophone for a while, and recently I’ve been trying to pick it back up on my own. It is turning out to be more challenging than I expected.

How did you end up at RetailSonar?
When I saw the job opening on LinkedIn, I was immediately drawn by the company’s mission and values, and it truly felt like the right fit for me.

What is your first impression of our company?
My first impression of the company was exactly what I expected: a strong growth mindset, a culture that embraces challenges, and a spirit of mutual support.

What do you see as the biggest challenge in your work?
As a consultant, you’re like a "Swiss Army knife", it's required to excel in many areas (such as data, communication, client support, etc). The biggest challenge lies in balancing all these aspects while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Which food/restaurant would you recommend in your hometown?
I'm from Reunion Island, so I definitely recommend trying “rougail saucisses” (it’s a traditional Creole dish made with smoked sausages simmered in a spicy tomato sauce) even though I'm vegetarian myself!

What is your first impression of our company?
Exciting and brimming with potential. No two days are the same, that keeps things interesting for me. Super friendly colleagues as well!

What do you see as the biggest challenge in your work?
Since RetailSonar is expanding internationally, learning the ins and outs of 4 different countries' labour laws, salary rules, and tax systems can definitely be challenging.

Any funny facts we need to know about you?
I was almost on TV for Junior Eurosong the year Fabian Feyaerts won, but I said no because I wanted to go on holidays with my parents. I sang the ‘Lazysong’ by Bruno Mars.

Which skills do you bring to the RetailSonar table?
I have a Master’s in Organisational Psychology, which means I should be half-decent at all things HR-related. I have a quick wit, organisational skills and I don’t mind small-talk at all (laughs).
